Part One: The Tigers Awaken

Karori from the Western suburbs took a journey out East. Karori brought with them many a beast.
Big V was up first dealing in boundaries . Hamish made sure the ball was less shiny.

Will then stepped up to take V's place, and kept the scoring at the same pace.
Alex arrived when Hamish left, and their bowlers were left totally bereft.

Smacking six 4s and four 6s, and a green galant's roof, that needs to go to the fixers.
Crofty was next and his bat he did flex. His 10 boundaries gave the Indies tourettes.

At the end Nando hit a moving car, and Crofty's 50 came from a six hit far.
Our innings scored nearly 2 runs per ball; here's hoping fielding won't be a toil.

Part Two: Land of the Fading Sun

Over one was shaped like the sun, it yielded zero runs. Their opener returned to pavilion.
Easts then hit the Shiz out of the ball, till Sukhin's yorker made stumps fall.

Tom and Will nailed lines and lengths, and Hamish gloved some catches in his nest.
Danny swung it in and caused some havoc, taking Easts to 6 down for about one-twenty.

We used 9 bowlers in all, with Vaughan, Hamish, and Neil each grabbing the ball.
Fairless came back and it was just the ticket, and Nando bowled another maiden-wicket.

Once everything was said and done, the Easts' hopes faded with the setting sun.
Bebemos hosted drinks to wet the Cats paws, with Danny and Neil breaking tap-out laws.

Cha-hooo!
